Trains

The nearest railway station is Darsham.
Trains run from here to Ipswich (for connections to London) and Lowestoft.

Buses

There is no scheduled bus service in Westleton. However, a bus service can be booked from the "Connecting Communities" service run by Suffolk County Council.

Westleton Village Hall and CATS are pleased to announce that CATS will be trialling a regular weekly return bus service from Westleton to Saxmundham, commencing on Thursday 26th August. This will initially run for 6 weeks, and will continue if enough passengers support it. The minibus will pick up from the bus stop at Heath View at approximately 10.45 on Thursdays, and then stop at the bus stop by The Crown at about 10.50, and will leave Saxmundham to return to Westleton for 12.30, the cost for the return trip will be £6.00. Why not take a trip to Saxmundham with other residents, you will have about 75 mins in the town, perfect for a wander along the High Street, perhaps to visit the pharmacy, stationers, bank, hardware store, pet shop or flower shop, you could visit the supermarkets, or just have a coffee and a chat with friends. Please support this initiative so that it is able to continue, and in the future other destinations could be arranged if there is sufficient demand.
