Westleton Wild Flower Festival

Westleton Wildflower Festival 2022

Hello Everyone!

Please find in the text below, the plans for this year's Westleton Wildflower Festival. This year there is a joint steering committee, comprising St Peters Church, Westleton Village Hall and The Westleton Gardeners Club.

Monica

Great news! We have started the organisation for the 2022 Wildflower Festival on the 30th and 31st July, this year, more than ever, it will be a wonderful occasion in high summer, to come together, celebrate as a community, enjoy nature, and showcase our wonderful local talent and creativity at its very best.

We are writing to seek volunteers to ‘adopt a window’ in the church to decorate! Our theme for the festival this year is ‘Long May She Reign…. Celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee’.  We have twelve wonderful titles for the windows for you to choose from.  We appreciate that many of you have a favoured window that you may wish to choose, and we are also hoping that there will some new volunteers to ‘adopt a window’.  You may choose however you wish to decorate and display, the focus and importance is ‘village contribution’ and involvement, you are not required to be an expert!

We are also seeking volunteers to help on the two days, please let us know if you would be willing to help.

So please do have a look at the window plan in the Church diagram below and let us know if you would like to volunteer to ‘adopt a window’, have any specific one in mind or are happy for us to try and accommodate everyone and work it out!   Please let us know as soon as possible so that we can start planning!
